Overview
Champion Systems Corporation was established in 1990 with the purpose of cost
effectively designing and manufacturing terminal and peripheral products for the POS
(Point-of-Sale), Automatic Identification and the online lottery industry.
Over the years, Champion Systems has developed and successfully fielded a number
of innovative products which includes the world's first magnetic and barcode combined
reader, the first compact scanner to read both ABA format credit cards and driver license
in the U.S. and the application of barcode technology to online lottery transactions.
The company conducts most of its research and product developments in the Boston
area. Product manufacturing is centrally managed and carried out at its Taiwan based
facilities and Champion Systems' affiliated companies.
